Pretty sure it means they've gone home. At least, that's what everyone says, and it seems to be true.

Oh, there's definitely a way out! Usually it's not by choice, I guess the People In Charge have awful passport control, but anyway, we're all bound to go home at some point. It's only a matter of when.

No prob! That's how I usually feel when someone I know goes away. Almost anything's better than here, and usually their places are nice enough.
